  • Floating Sauna Attendant (Contract Position)

    Here’s your chance to be a key part of operating Alberta’s first and only floating sauna! Glamp Good is seeking an energetic and active Floating Sauna Attendant to join our team. This dynamic, client-facing position requires a love for lake life, being outdoors and engaging with guests in a laid-back environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable kayaking, swimming and working in and around water. You’ll be responsible for ensuring an enjoyable and safe sauna experience on the water, assisting guests and maintaining the floating sauna’s operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Greet and assist guests with their sauna experience, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable time.

    - Hold safety and instructional orientations for guests upon arrival.

    - Light sauna stove for guests.

    - Paddle with guests to and from the floating sauna via kayak.

    - Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the sauna area.

    - Be proactive in managing safety, assisting guests with water-related activities and offering guidance.

    - Monitor guest well-being during their 4-hour booking and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

    Requirements:

    - Comfortable in the water, great swimmer and ability to kayak.

    - Love for the outdoors and lake life.

    - Client-facing experience with a friendly, approachable attitude.

    - Preference for Lifeguard Certification and First Aid/CPR certification.

    - Physically active and able to perform duties for 4-8 hour shifts.

    Pay: Hourly rate  - part time hours varying seasonally, potential for full time

    Contract Type: Flexible shifts (4-8 hours per shift)  

    Location: Twin Lake, Wetaskiwin County, Alberta, CA (near the town of Winfield)

  • Cleaner and Caretaker - Glamping Retreat

    Glamp Good is looking for an independent, highly active and detail-oriented Cleaner and Caretaker to join our team at our one-of-a-kind glamping retreat! This position involves a variety of tasks to maintain the retreat’s high standards, from cleaning glamping units and common areas to troubleshooting off-grid systems and assisting guests. The ideal candidate should enjoy working on their feet, be hands-on and thrive in a dynamic, outdoorsy environment. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Clean and turnover glamping units between guest stays, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.

    - Maintain and care for common areas, keeping them tidy and welcoming for guests.

    - Handle and transport propane tanks, including filling them at the local hardware store (5 minutes away).

    - Troubleshoot off-grid systems as needed, ensuring smooth operations.

    - Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, offering support and answering questions.

    - Maintain and manage eco toilets, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.

    - Occasionally be available on-site to assist guests and ensure a positive retreat experience.

    - Support the growth and expansion of the retreat, offering assistance as needed.

    Requirements:

    - Active, hands-on and comfortable working independently.

    - Strong attention to detail, especially for cleaning and maintaining high standards.

    - Ability to handle basic troubleshooting and off-grid systems (training required).

    - People person with a friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent guest interaction skills.

    - Trainable, open to growth and excited about contributing to the operations and future development of the retreat.

    - Must live nearby for quick visits and on-call assistance when required.
